Job Description:

• Learning about the IT sector.
• Developing new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, through networking and calling, building rapport, arranging meetings and following up leads.
• Pitching technical proposals and service specifications and explaining the benefits they will offer, generating new business leads through networking and promotional activities.
• Providing technical information and explanations.
• Preparing proposals and managing orders; communicating expected delivery date.
• Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client, negotiations around pricing and other contractual terms.
• Entering prospects/clients’ information to a CRM system and generating results reports.
• Making recommendations to management.
• Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Attending IT events, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
• Working closely with the marketing department.

Post Sales:

• Managing clients’ satisfaction, presenting issues to a technical team to act on, and then to the client.
• Understanding customers’ specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.
• Examining customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items, explaining technical features.
